Many people teach that Jews will not go to heaven unless they convert to Christianity. We should certainly take the Gospel to the Jews, but a proper understanding of what Jesus said proves that they can go to heaven.
It requires a correct understanding of Christ’s return. Jesus said heaven and earth will pass away but his words will not pass away, and that destruction by fire is coming upon the world. And later Peter said the heavens will roll up like a scroll and the surface of Earth will be destroyed by fire at the return of Christ.
So when I read this statement, I knew he was taking about his return:
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one dot or one mark will pass from the law until all be fulfilled.” (Matthew 5:17-18)
This means that Law and the Prophets will stay in effect for those who are still practicing the Law and the Prophets, UNTIL heaven and earth pass away, which is the return of Christ. This means observant Jews can be saved, even though there are no sacrifices offered in the Temple.
The Jews will literally convert en masse right before the Rapture, and the return of Christ follows shortly as shown in my books on Bible prophecy.
Also, Jesus has not fulfilled ALL of the Law and Prophets, because there are prophecies about his return and his Kingdom, such as the lion and lamb together. ALL will not be fulfilled until his return.
