Last Great — Introduction

This book was originally two books which I significantly revised and updated, and combined into one. The largest was published in 2017 under the title, Satan’s False Prophets Exposed, the second was titled, The Last Great Spiritual Conflict: A Vision and Two Prophecies in 2023. The second book provides even more evidence to support my claims that the Word of Faith (WOF) movement is a false cult under Satan’s control.

In 2023, I read thousands of pages of Pentecostal newspapers that were published after the Azusa Street outpouring in 1906, which resulted in modern Pentecostalism. There were many interesting articles and historical reports of revivals, but one particular vision is so important that it is almost as important as the visions of Daniel. I discovered it in a 1916 edition of The Weekly Evangel, the newspaper of the Assembly of God (later changed to The Pentecostal Evangel), under the title, The Last Great Spiritual Conflict.

This vision reveals that two great attacks will come upon the Pentecostals. I found evidence that they successfully repelled the first external attack. The second attack was to come from within, and has been successful; as shown in the vision! The vision showed that the attack from within would defeat many Pentecostal warriors. They would let down their shields and weapons and be wounded by the enemy. The elements of the vision point to this attack being the rise of the Word of Faith movement. I now include this vision and discuss both attacks. I also found two more recent prophecies that also point to the Word of Faith (WOF) movement.

Sadly, many Pentecostals do not even know what the WOF movement is, or what it teaches compared to historic Pentecostalism. When they watch “Christian” TV, like TBN or God.TV, they think they are watching the movement that began at Azusa Street in 1906, but they are not. This lack of understanding, that they are not the same, has led many to listen and be deceived.

Within the WOF movement, there are manifestations that never occurred among the early Pentecostals. The Pentecostals never had dog barking, or chicken clucking as manifestations, which happens in some WOF churches. I refer to these as “negative manifestations,” and I believe God sends them to cause us to question the doctrines of those ministers and churches. Such is the state of many Pentecostal and Charismatic churches today.

The WOF false teachers have so corrupted the truth that they no longer believe in the doctrines of historic Christianity. They have their own version of the gospel, and teach that Jesus’s death on the cross did not pay for anyone’s sins, but had to suffer in hell for your sins. Then, was born again in hell. There are no passages in the Bible to support such gross heresy. As other books have proven beyond doubt, WOF doctrine is so messed up that it is more like Mormonism or Gnosticism than historical Christianity, but I go even farther.

Word of Faith (WOF) pastors and teachers who have signs and wonders, such as gold dust and other wonders, are those Jesus warned us about several times; such as when he said there will come many false Messiahs and false prophets who perform such signs and wonders that even the elect are almost deceived. It is happening now.

There is much disturbing information about the WOF movement, Toronto Blessing-inspired revivals, the Prophetic Movement, their doctrines, and their preachers. I discuss these and how they operate. The Bible gives us a description of these almost true, yet false prophets, and even tells us that they can sometimes perform genuine miracles. I will explain how that is possible, and how their services are a mixture of the Holy Spirit and evil spirits.

And yet it gets even worse; while researching this book I discovered significant evidence that some of them are knowingly following Satan. It is a known fact that people have made deals with the devil to become rich and famous movie stars or rock stars. But what will shock most people is that there are rich and famous preachers on TV who have made the same deal with the devil. They are literally Satan’s ministers; the evidence will stun you, and names are given. One TV preacher can be heard on video saying, “you become a son that serves, Satan,” while another one, while preparing to take an offering, says, “Tie my money, Satan.” (I have a video on my YouTube channel that shows this.)

And some ministers, both true and false, are faking miracles. The Bible tells us that those who engage in fakery and claim that fake miracles are true miracles from God are in danger of being struck down by God, like Nadab and Abihu, who faked a miracle. Are ministers falling dead today? Yes, many have died, but many have not yet.

I also present first-hand testimonies from many people who report getting demon spirits after attending one of the WOF revivals or just watching their DVDs. They report how they were deceived and how their eyes were eventually opened to the truth.

The majority of the other books previously written against the WOF movement were written by people who oppose all Pentecostals and Charismatics. Those attack books would have been written even if the WOF did not exist. For that reason, the Pentecostals and Charismatics have ignored those books, with deadly consequences.

I do not oppose original Pentecostalism, because I grew up attending an old-fashioned Pentecostal church that warned us about the false doctrines of the WOF movement. Ignoring the warnings, in my early 20s, I became a believer in the prosperity gospel, but God eventually opened my eyes to the truth. But 40 years later, that same church was teaching WOF doctrines; probably not all of them, but enough to consider it infiltrated. The main means of infiltration were TBN, Oral Roberts’ and Kenneth Copeland’s TV shows, and a few others.

Why did this happen? Because most of the founders of the WOF movement were originally Pentecostals. Kenneth Hagin was an Assembly of God pastor and evangelist who preached the prosperity gospel and WOF doctrines and spread them within the denomination. After all, Hagin claimed to be a Spirit-filled Christian who spoke in tongues and prophesied, so Pentecostals listened to his teaching. Then he crossed over into the Charismatic Movement and started his own Bible college (1974).

TBN was founded in 1973 by Paul and Jan Crouch who also claimed Assembly of God roots. It is highly probable that he was not WOF when he began TBN, but became WOF because of the teachings of Hagin and Copeland. These are examples of ministers who started out on the right track but became deceived. The first step along the wrong path was likely the prosperity gospel, as you will see, followed by many other strange doctrines.

Many people today wrongly give credit to the WOF for bringing us knowledge of faith and healing, but that is a bold-faced lie. I include several pages of reports from revivals during the early 20th century, in which many great miracles took place. So Hagin was NOT the father of the faith movement; he is the father of lies, greed, and deception.

There are many well-known Word of Faith preachers, and all have greatly distorted many doctrines, yet, because they believe in healing and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they are accepted by Pentecostals and Charismatics. They should be tested as Jesus mentioned in Revelation, “And you have tested those who say they are apostles, but are not, and have found them to be liars” (2:2) (MEV). So now there are many churches that have aligned themselves with these false ministers. This means it is becoming more and more problematic to be a Pentecostal or Charismatic. The entire Pentecostal and Charismatic movement is in danger of being taken over by Satan’s false prophets.

Because of WOF infiltration, I no longer consider myself Pentecostal or Charismatic, but rather, Full Gospel. The Pentecostal/ Charismatic Movement needs reformation, but what is more likely is a split in the movement; Rick Joyner calls it a civil war. However, because of the great hardships that are about to come upon the world, such as war, earthquakes, and even asteroid impacts, many in the WOF movement will be greatly shaken which could bring the needed repentance and reformation. Only time will tell.

I have been attacked for revealing the truth about the false prophets and their false doctrines, but the Apostle Paul said to expose the works of darkness:

And do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness; instead, expose them. (Eph 5:11) (MEV)

This book exposes the works of the WOF movement (see also Titus 1:9-13). Paul also said:

Now I urge you, brothers, to closely watch those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the teaching which you have learned, and avoid them.(Rom 16:17) (MEV)

The individuals responsible for causing division in this passage are the ones who were teaching doctrines that differed from those taught by Apostle Paul. Therefore, it is not me or others like me who are causing division, but rather the WOF false teachers. Jesus also spoke against false teachers, when he called the Pharisees “whitewashed tombs” in Matthew (23:27-28); and, “You are of your father the devil” (John 8:44).

Some people will want to bring out the “authority” gun to question by what authority I speak against the rich and powerful WOF preachers and doctrines, and the false signs and wonders, saying that God has no self-appointed prophets or lone-wolf ministers. This is an argument that has no merit and is used by people who want to silence those they disagree with. My authority does not rest with the backing of a denomination or large church, it comes from having been raised in a Pentecostal church and having been part of the WOF in my 20s. But God allowed me to see it for what it really is, lies that are contrary to true historical Christianity, also called orthodoxy.

With the gospel of success and prosperity spreading like a plague of locusts, and now false signs and wonders, and false spirits of the “river” outpouring, the Pent./Char. Movement is in serious trouble.
